Over my years as a Christian, when seasons change, I have constantly searched for answers, reasons, and God’s comfort for my million thoughts and questions. I will then often stumble across quotes that become gentle reminders of His faithfulness in my current season. Through these quotes, God brought about comfort, encouragement, healing, and warmth.
Friends, whether you find yourself amidst changes where familiarity seems elusive, or you’re stuck in the comfort of the familiar but yearning for something new, I hope these quotes can encourage and uplift you just as they have for me.
One day you will look back on this season and know that you are truly blessed, not because things were perfect, but because you found perfect grace in the worst of it.
– Morgan Harper Nichols
The seasons change, and you change, but your Lord abides evermore the same, and the streams of His love are as deep, as broad, and as full as ever.
– Charles H. SpurgeoN
Sometimes we go through seasons of confusion, seasons of brokenness, or seasons of loss. Sometimes, we go through seasons of spiritual deadness. And we have no idea what to do about it. However, no matter how long we’re on the ground, or how bad the darkness gets, one thing remains the same – it ends. And Jesus remains.

As children of God, when change leaves us unsteady, we can rest assured that God is with us in every step we take. Whether we’re learning to live without a loved one, stepping into a new season of life, or navigating a move to an unfamiliar place, we never have to take those first shaky steps alone.
As we walk with Him, He creates the perfect timing to bring forth His promises, even if that timing feels imperfect to us. He is faithful to perform His Word.

We may be living in the wait, but we don’t have to wait to live. Even if you’re waiting for direction, for some things to fall into place so you can move forward, God has a purpose and life for you right now.
Try new things. Do the things you enjoy. Learn something you’ve always wanted to learn. Use and develop your gifts. All to glorify God, serving Him and sharing His love with others.

Seasons.
Jesus comprehends the magnitude of pain that your heart has carried. And He longs for you to rest in peaceful assurance that everything will be okay. For greater things are coming your way. He is preparing something wonderful for you. You are destined for so much more. Hold on to Him and do not let go. For this is only a season, beloved child of God.
Your Heavenly Father will turn your pain into a beautiful story. And He shall abundantly restore all that you have lost. The radiance and splendor of your Heavenly Father shall be glorious over your life. Rest in His love and take refuge in His embrace. For He has chosen you for such a time as this. Never to leave or forsake. He will always take good care of you.

In God’s Timeline
No season is ever wasted in God’s timeline. Whatever you’re going through, no matter how painful it is, God will use it to bring you closer to Him. And so I hope you seek, worship, and trust Him more. He is a God who doesn’t waste a pain.
– Jonalyn San Diego
To the woman who’s in a different season than all her friends:
In every season, God can use you. At every moment, there is good work to be done and rest to be had in Christ. Contentment is not hiding around the bend, waiting for you.

Maybe God is waiting for you to:
Move in faith without knowing the outcome; Forgive even when it feels impossible; Obey in the small ways first; Embrace a season of quietness with Him; Learn this lesson before you lead others; Let go of what you think it must look like; Allow Him to minister to your broken places; Stop leaning on your own understanding; Address your excuses; Be strong enough to carry what He’s called you to.
